Kathy Guyton, Allied ASID and IIDA, has been in the interior design business for more than 30 years. She has been named by House Beautiful as one of the top ten showhouse designers in the United States, and her projects have been awarded gold and silver medals by ASID. In 2006, she was voted runner-up Southeastern Designer of the Year.

Her work has been published in numerous magazines, including Town & Country, House Beautiful, Southern Accents, Southern Living, Veranda, Metropolitan Home and Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles.

She has been involved in designing and building many homes across the country and is currently involved with homes in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and California.

She describes her style as “casual elegance” and likes to feature an interesting, easy mix of antiques, fine furnishings and decorative accessories designed for comfortable living.

Kathy’s design skills are an important part of the integrated approach the firm takes with every house it designs, builds, or remodels. Her knowledge of “what will work and what won’t” helps clients avoid costs and time in planning and construction. Kathy notes that she’s seen many home plans and designs that look good on paper, but simply don't function once completed.
